"First, I would like to thank the outgoing President, Justin Stephens and the Board of Directors of 2016 for their volunteered time and dedication to our community. Also to Amanda Summers, our Executive Director, who will continue to serve for 2017. You are all greatly appreciated for your service! I would also like to welcome our new and thank our returning Board of Directors for 2017.
I am looking forward to working with this fabulous group of community supporters.
As our businesses are growing, the chamber is enhancing our program to better serve your business. Of course, we will keep traditions in the events department and allow new ones for our community, but our focus for 2017 will be to build our members services. We want our Chamber members to know and feel their businesses are being marketed and appreciated throughout our community. YOU are the reason the Chamber exists.
In 2016, old buildings have upgrade to new ones, we've added new restaurants, boutiques, and the hospital is doubling in size and has added several new services. This means more jobs, more people moving and visiting Gatesville. With that said, every business from plumbing to banking will benefit from this. I can only promise you as Chamber President for 2017 I will try to take the appropriate steps to better serve you. I want your feedback and need your feedback, because in the end
We are all in this together.
Thank you and looking forward to serving you in 2017."
